Puerto Vallarta is celebrating a successful year following the presentation of the 2025 tourism results by Jalisco Secretary of Tourism, Michelle Fridman. The report, reviewed by the local Directorate of Economic Promotion and Tourism, affirms a year of significant growth and stability for the destination.
Key metrics included welcoming 5 million visitors, generating a massive 32 billion pesos in economic activity, achieving a high 70% hotel occupancy rate, and successfully hosting 123 cruise ship arrivals carrying over 392,000 passengers.
The local government, led by Mayor Luis Munguía, expressed strong appreciation for the vision and leadership of Secretary Fridman and her team. Director Cornejo acknowledged that their committed work has established modern, sustainable public policies perfectly aligned with the needs of the contemporary tourism sector.
