Puerto Vallarta’s tourism industry has kicked off 2024 with positive numbers, as our airport had one of the largest influx of foreign tourists in all of Mexico, with a remarkable 14 percent growth in visitors. Other airports in this list include Cancun, Los Cabos, and Mexico City.
International visitors spent an average of $808, with air travelers recording an all-time high of $1,262 in spending. The total revenue from international visitors reached $3,143 million, the highest for a January month.
This surge in tourism bodes well for Puerto Vallarta’s economy and highlights its appeal as a travel destination.
