Also did this all day boat trip for $30 a person. Got stuck talking to a Mayan Palace guy in the marina district. Got suckered in to buying this. Got cont breakfast, open bar, snorkeling and lunch. Not bad for $30. Stopped at Mismaloya Beach and Los Arcos for snorkeling. Snorkel away from everyone else-alot of crud got mixed around the water. Very few pictures from underwater camera turned out. Then went to some other beach to walk to some waterfall. Bring hiking shoes or tennis shoes! After the rain the night before, it seemed we walked through some small river and right up the stream is where people live so you know they bathe and wash dishes in this water. People took the horses, but no thanks! You walk down raveins-spelling?? through mud, down what looks like mudslides. cool, but I was in poolside shoes in my 2 piece bathing suit sarong and a towel! People with iguanas hit you up as you are getting off the motorboat-yes, you have to get on another boat to get to the beach and get out in the water. $2 to take a picture with the iguana. People live it huts around there, but have TV! Once you get to the waterfall, there is a bar there and I saw someone order shrimp cocktail! Oh and you have to pay to use the bathrooms. Very adventurous I might add! DJ on board. Very entertaining-long day and hot! Parasailing was offered at Mismaloya Beach. I would do it again. For $30, no problem. The party boat on the pirate ship looked pretty cool. Missed sunsets since it rained every night. I found these Sarape boat trips for $60 a person online, but we lucked out finding this Mayan Palace guy. Took some sweet talking and negotiating, but it was worth it.
