Sand Art

This morning I enjoyed looking at one of our members (tuna) photos..
In one of the photos I noticed sand art on the beach.
I like sand art but have only seen the art in photos.. I still enjoy sitting in the sand and making castles ... like the children made in the photo below.. :)

Does Puerto Vallarta have a yearly sand art festival?
Is it a competition or just for fun ?
What time of year is the sand art created and displayed?

there are some guys who makes beautiful artwork out of sand along the malecon
all they ask is donations for their time
like those rock balancers too
