What great news! I recently booked to stay at Playa Conchas Chinas for next February and was hoping to get a review of the walk into town along the beach--sounds wonderful!

It is possible to walk the beach from the Marine terminal all the way to Lindo Mar. You have to wade through the Rio Pitallal and scramble over the rocks at Las Palmas. You also have to time the walk past the south side of the Sheraton. And you need to escape to the Malecon from El Centro to past the Rio Cuale.

But it is a very doable beach walk. When we do the whole thing, we take the bus back.

It takes 3 hours and involves passing through several barbed wire gates.

So what you are saying is that your are tresspassing on private property that is fenced off to keep tresspassers out? :)
