Storage on beaches?

Re:Storage on beaches?
Why not use as water proof camera that you can take snorkeling? You can buy disposables that do this or they sell special covers for standard cameras to \"water proof them\". Now let me state that I have NEVER had anything stolen at the beach in 20 years of coming to PV, but I do not tempt fate. I carry my pesos in a water proof plastic tube around my neck that you can buy in any shop in PV. I wear a water resistant watch good to 200 meters. I only bring cheap sandals, towel, suntan lotion, a paperback in a back pack so if I lose all it is not a great loss.
P.S. Most places the waiter will watch your stuff putting it behind the counter or another Sun Worshiper. Never a problem to make friends on the beach.

I only bring what I can afford to lose... but still have never had anything ripped off ever.

I think the question about storage on the beach was a very good one.

I know when I head to the beach I usually have an arm full of must have items.
A book sunglasses ball cap camera thongs monies just in case I would like to shop from the vendors
room key snacks drink a swimsuit coverup and a few other items LOL
When we go into the water for a swim or the time I did the dreaded kyak not fun thing I
always seem to be asking someone could you please watch my things for just a little while.
I probably am a pain to some. LOL

Hmmmm
Maybe I could dig a very deep hole in the sand and hide my needed stuff there.

I have lived in Vallarta for 5 years plus, i cant count the number of
conocidos on 2 hands that make there \"living\" from stealing from
turists...glad you have all had good luck, so far.
Patanes
You seem not to be mixing with the best of crowds... never met (nor really look forward to meeting) any people who steal for a \"living\"...
