An interesting article in the Banderas News

http://www.banderasnews.com/0608/hb-crossingforcare.htm
The article is about the States and Mexico..could we include Canada :?
In Alberta we have a shortage of thousands of Doctors. I believe this is an issue across Can.
Waiting times are long.
Good Luck finding a family Doctor.
Hours upon hours wait in merg rooms.

My daughter needs a lot of Dental work .
She has her husbands Insurance coverage till next year.
Because of divorce she will not have coverage after that.
Friends and fam have said take her to Mexico to get her work done.
A vacation and dental work for less than the cost of her dental work in Can.
A thought and not far fetched! :)
We are hearing about more and more folks traveling to Mexico for health care.
Thoughts?

also thanks mexibeach and ellen.
My friend Kassiano that lives in PV, his sister is a flight attendant for Air Jamaica... and when she comes over from Jamaica for a visit, she gets her dental and medical work done in Mexico... she had some bridge work done in PV for around $2500 US that would have cost her well over $10k US back in Jamaica or the US....

I think Sylvia it is time for a road trip for you and your daughter to head on down to PV for some dental work. There was a DDS down around the corner from the GCP that had all his credentials from the University of Illinois. Kind of surprising as well....

Good luck...
