Ok...another question from a PV newbie! I know you can get cuban cigars in PV...where is the best spot to purchase and can you bring them back to the states :?:

There is lots of places to buy them . You can also watch them make them in a little shop in the area of the square in Centro. He also sells them. Made in Mexico, enjoy em while your there you will get less hassel than at home.

You are allowed to bring into the states 5 cuban cigars for personal use. I brought one back a few years ago, I had it in my pocket of the shorts I was wearing coming back into the states, while going through the inspection in PV the guard grabbed it and gave it back to me, then while wondering through the no duty shops of the PV airport, I asked one of the clerks that was selling cubans, she told me you are allowed 5. I thought I was busted when the guard grabbed it though.

Sorry for the mis-information! After reading that article, I will not bring any back into the states, reguardless of what some sales lady tells me. Thanks for clearing that up. 8)
