Book now! Hype True?

Several girlfriends and I are planning to travel to PV in the month of January after the 10th.

I was under the impression that its not as crazy busy after New Years but the travel agents are advisng we better book now or risk not securing a spot. Is this true or is it a crapshoot?

:roll: Forgot to logon and to Mention, THATS NOT FIGURING A PACKAGE TOUR! Most packages have a limited number of seats & or rooms available for a specified price. High value, well advertized deals will go fast.

We booked our trip back in August.

Now a few friends of ours decided that they would like to join us on our trip, same time - same place.

Guess what? From our gateway - for our resort - for two weeks - leaving Jan 7.....they are out of luck.

Why wait if you know where and when you want to go :?:

As for me, I try to book as early as possible, and since I usually us Funjet I have the option to check the rates every week and reduce mine if the price goes down. I do take advantage of a hot deal <60 days out, but since I work at a hospital findling someone to work my weekend shifts is hard to do at the last minute.
