What is the best way to get to PV from Guadalajara

I already bought a ticket to Guadalajara. Now I want to go to PV instead.

Buying a separate air ticket form GDL to PV is too expensive.

Can somebody suggest the cheapest way to get to PV?
I have heard and read that a bus trip (ETN) from GDL to PV is my best bet, but, I cant seem to find bus timings leaving GDL and viceversa.

Anybody know this information, or if you can point the website with this kinda info, I shall buy you a 6-pack the next time I meet you.

We drove from Guadalajara to Sayulita (about 45 min north of PV) last September and it took about 4 hours to get to Sayulita via rental car. Rented a car in Guadalajara and drove. Have no idea about busses.

I would actually like to drive from GDL to PV, but a couple of things are making me think twice about it:
1) I dont know whether the drive is easy and convenient
2) With my basic(little) knowledge of spanish, Im not sure whether driving from city to city is a good idea.

ETN is very luxurious, now costs 420 pesos, I believe. Very comfortable ride about 5 hours.

The main problem right now is that I cant seem to get the bus schedule(ETN, etc) from GDL to PV. Without knowing when I will reach PV, I cannot book a hotel in PV. Im trying to get the bus schedule, so that I can plan my trip better.

Maybe, tomorrow, i will call the ETN by phone and find out their schedule (I hope they understand english).

ETN bus departures from Guadalajara to PV are at 8:15AM, 10:15AM, 12:15PM and 2:15PM daily. The trip takes about 5 hours as mentioned above. It used to cost about 380 pesos one-way to PV, but I have heard that the prices went up a little. The return trip to Guadalajara is the same price. In a car, you would pay a little over 250 pesos for road tolls (in each direction) and pay for gasoline at about 6 pesos per liter (expensive). Plus, the bus provides you with a lunch.
