Re:Travel Insurance
We got really good quotes last year from InsureMy Trip. wwwinsuremytrip.com. $55 for 2 of us for 14 days, included the 50,000 evacuation emergency, also 1,000 in baggage loss, 750 for travel delay, 10,000 medical. However, we got it thru our travel agent when we booked our trip, it was a little more expensive but came with the package. Did the same thing this year.
Insure My Trip also has a toll free number 1-800-487-4722 and another website for questions: service@insuremytrip.com
good luck.

My wife and I were down in Jan 2003. We are Canadian and my wife used RBC Travel Ins, I believe we paid about $70 Canadian for trip cancellation, medical emergencies, etc. She had to have a shot of cortozone while there which cost us $100 US. I made a claim when I got home and was re-imbursed with no hassle. You can find out about RBC Ins on the web site www.selloffvacations.com on a link on the left. Hope this helps.

$10,OOO coverage for Medical does not sound much for Emergency coverage for Mexico.
Mexican hospitals ,in some cases ,charge as much as U.S.A. HOSPITALS
