Ryan International? Good or bad?

Has anyone flown Ryan International to PV? We have a great package deal air inclusive. My only question is flying with Ryan International. I am from Michigan and have never heard of them. I do believe they are more like a charter. Afraid to get to the resort late or worse yet miss a day or two.

Any help in reviews regarding this airline?

Flown Ryan 5-6 times now and every time have arrived ahead of schedule. The flight attendants are very nice and helpful and seem not to change very much as they have remembered me and my wife on several occations. My only suggestion since this is a charter, if you can request an emergency isle for the extra leg room and bring some thing along to eat as the meals leave something to be desired. I have been informed that Ryan will not be running service to PV out of STL this summer and that really puts a bite on my plans to hit PV again in June or July.

I usually get a Sun Tours charter flight on Ryan from Denver. I have never had a problem with them. The leg room is a little short, but they are flying cattle trucks but it is only a 3-4 hour flight and cheap. ?? Ryan also flys charters for some other tour operator out of MCI (Kansas City), Has any one flown Ryan from KC and if so who does the charters and is AIR only available??

I am also flying out of Detroit Metro in 3 weeks. We are also taking Ryan.
I have flown Ryan several times with no complaints, I do agree about the
leg room. Where will you be staying? There will be 8 of us staying at
the Vista.

My daughter had a bad experience with Ryan Air on Feb. 15th. She was delayed 9 hours because of a breakdown and they did not have another plane to fly her out. She lost out on 1 full day of her vacation. She had a hard time getting any info by phone. Make sure that you get a Mexico phone number to confirm flight upon your return as a 1-800 number will not work. We flew two weeks before on another airline and were told by our Limo service that Ryan Air was the worst for delays. We are aware that this is part of travelling, however whenever we have had any delays on other airlines we have always been compensated. Hopefully you will have better luck than my daughter had.

WE have only been delayed 1 time out of St. Louis (for 6 hours), something about the plane being delayed in Cancun. They ended up putting us on an Apple jet. All the rest have been great. Even arrive early once in a while.
