evening bus to Sayulita?

Hello,

I will be arriving at PVR in the evening and I was wondering if it would still be possible to take a bus from the airport to Sayulita at that time (around 6-8PM).

Are there any safety concerns? A friend advised me from traveling at night because it was dangerous. Is this a valid concern?

The last bus from the airport to Sayulita (and the last bus to arrive in Sayulita at all) leaves the airport at about 8pm and gets into Sayulita an hour later, which is also 8pm as we are one hour behind Vallarta.
