Re:cheap airfair
On the same subject. We usually drive the 400 miles to Denver to catch a charter. I have heard that Ryan flys charters for someone out of Kansas City, however I can never find who they are chartering for. Any one flown a charter from KC to PV or Cancun?
Re:cheap airfair
again on the same subject, If you can travel weekdays, go to Travelocity and check \"Flexable dates\" you can usually get a ticket for about $150 less than the regular ticket for the dates you want.
Re:cheap airfair

Re:cheap airfair
Here is a thought. Catch a southwest flight from where ever you are starting from to say either Phoenix or LA and then cath a flight from there. A RT ticket from LAX to PVR cost me $325.00 per person and we have a lot of competition here. If you are flying from say KC to LAX that ticket on Southwest would only run you about $130.00 RT (thats what they are quoting right now and they offer non-stop flights. The only draw back would be that where you flew Southwest to, you would have to get your bags and re-check them in with the other Airline you flew to PVR on.

Just found rate of 333.33 RT from Midway... Looks like ATA ROCKS
Re:cheap airfair
You had better double check , I bet the $333 is without tax which runs anywhere from
$85- $105 additional!!
Re:cheap airfair
I live in Nebraska and can currently I can fly from Omaha, Lincoln or Kansas City for just under $500 pp including tax. I usually grab one of the $200-250 charters from Denver ($179 including tax last Feburary) when they come available. I usually do not like wasting 2 days driving or the lack of schedule choices, but for the $400 savings on a pair I can usually justify it. Just wish there were cheap charters a little closer.
Re:cheap airfair
HI, I am also having a problem finding an affordable airfare but i am from the Western Pennsylvania area
The closet airport for me would be Pittsburgh but could make the trip out of Cleveland, Ohio..
Any suggestions? Gracias
Re:cheap airfair
There may still be some cheaper airfare to be found. It seems that airfare has increased considerably since april. Last week I began searching for tickets to PV for December. First of all stay away from Expedia, Orbitz, Etc. They never sell tickets lower than the regular airline fairs. This is what I did. Use \"DISCOUNT AIRLINE TICKETS\" as the argument in your favorite search engine. Then drill 7 - 10 pages into the results. This is where you can find the real discounters, or the sites that have not yet posted the fare increases. I spent about 20 minutes searching, and found a site with the old fares, and immediately jumped on the tickets. Two days later I had the tickets in my hand at the advertised price and saved nearly $250 on two tickets, over the airline and Orbitz prices. When I went back to the discounter web site, the prices had been adjusted. So with a little work, and a little luck maybe you can save a little money.
But if you do find good prices, jump on them right away. They may not last until tomorrow.
