Car rental

We will be traveling around with a Mexican National. Do we save any money or insurance hassle if the Mexican National rents the car?

Whoever signs the rental contract is going to be the person responsible for the condition of the car. You can add additional drivers but it is the person who signs the contract that is the responsible party. So I guess to answer your question, yea it will save \"you\" money if you have the \"mexican national\" sign the contract.
