We are looking forward to being in PV next week. We will be making our annual trek with about 15 friends. Cannot wait! Since we have people arriving at different times, I was wondering if anyone could give me an example of what the taxi fare will be like from the airport to the Los Muertos Beach area - we will all be staying within a block of each other. (Personally, I would take the bus for 4 pesos but the rest of our friends are not as open to it).
Here are a few questions:
1) Should the rate be for the entire carload or per person? In a lot of cases, we have been approached by drivers looking to take us to Los Muertos for a cost of $8US per person. Should we be using the taxi stand?
2) If we choose to take a taxi off the airport property, where is the best place to catch one? Can we flag one on the main highway or will we get in trouble?
