Air fare out of Calgary

Is $712 Canadian including all taxes a good price for travel at Xmas on Alaska Airlines?

I think that is pretty good. We are going over spring break and our fare is over $900 from Edmonton taxes included. I am watching for prices for this Christmas too so thanks for you tip.

We paid over $1000 including tax for air out of Vancouver this past xmas

We paid $638 tax included over last christmas from Vancouver, that was two months in advance. So you may get a better deal looking later on around Sept. or Oct. for flights at Christmas time.
