We enjoyed our first trip to PV very much, but our hotel will not be included in any future plans to revisit. We stayed at the Melia for 6 days this past week and had a very mediocre experience with the hotel. The staff was very attentive and the pool was very large. But the food and drinks were by far the worst I have had at any hotel or resort. Both me and my wife thoroughly enjoy eating good food and having well made drinks, but we got neither at the melia.

I am sure we will visit PV again but next time we will try to find a nice place to stay that is in the downtown or romantic zones (or possibly even the conchas chinas). We also wont stay at an all inclusive because all the restaurants we tried were great and there were plenty more that we didnt have time to try.

Overall, PV is a great city, but Melia was a dissapointment.
