Sierra Madre Jeep Tour

This was a great tour through Vallarta Adventures. We went on 7/15/06. The guide was great and knowledgeable about the PV area and jungle area. You must be able to tolerate hiking in the woods and the bumpy ride in the jeep. The jeep sits approximately 12 people. The lunch served at san francisco beach was very good. A good variety and quantity of food. All of the bottled water, beer, soda and tequila that you could drink was included too. There was a stop in a small town to visit a historic catholic church and town square. Of course, there were vendors there too. The time spent at San Francisco beach was quite long after finishing lunch. There were no places to sit outside of the covered picnic tables. It would have been nice to have relaxing chairs or lounge chairs to look out on the water. The day we went, the water was too rough for swimming but some folks stuck their feet in or went in waist deep. The hike in the woods was about 1/2 hour. You will need bug spray for sure. It was a comfortable walk because the sun was blocked by the trees. I would recommend this tour.
