PV trip. to much fun..

Hello all just got back from a 10 day trip to wonderful P.V. I had a blast. The people of P.V. are the best, everyone was so helpful. I am not sure were to begin. We stayed at the Marriot, very nice hotel. Did not spend much time at the hotel, one day on the beach and by the pool. I will stay in old town next time just because it is were everything is and you do not have to rely on a taxi or bus.

OK, a list of stuff and things we did ..

Victors at the marina. That is were we started our day. Or should I say late morning or afternoon. 10 peso beers all day and a free shot of Tequila.. Ya the tequila was watered down and not that good, but just the idea sounds so good. They have good fish tacos and burritos there also.

Brasili’s.. OK, I just loved this place it was great.. I am a meat lover and do not eat many veggies so I was in heaven. A big thumps up for this place.

Andales and Senor Sweenys.. both were great.. The waitress at Senor Sweenys was a blast, very nice a helpful.. Wish I could remember her name.. said she was from Canada.

Pacifico Grill. I really liked this place all you can eat shrimp with your meal.. The coconut shrimp was great.

Just walking around town was great. The people are very nice and the food was the best. From the restaurants to the street taco stand .. all great…

Bus ride to Boca de Tomatlan.. Took the bus to Boca and sat at one of the three little bars on the beach .. the second one. Before we new it we had each sucked down 8 beers.
Thank god I took the bus.. And the best part of the ride to Boca.. I found some Raicilla.
Got about a liter of it. Ok this stuff knocks it in the dirt. You can sure tell it is moonshine.
It has that wood burning camp fire smell to it.. yes I brought it home with me..

Renting a car and driving to Sayalita (sp) and Punta de Mita.. This was a fun trip rented a Jetta and just started to drive up north, no map just took of. Lots of surfers at Sayalita, very nice. Fun place.

Parasailing on the Melecon.. this was a lot of fun and only 350 peso.. if you have not done this you should it is great you get a really nice very of the whole city.. you can take your camera up with you too..

Walmart.. Ok, I just had to through this one in.. Bacardi rum for about 5.00 ( 750 ml) I almost fell over.

Drip 1, it sounds like you had a great trip. Glad to hear you expienced so much out there. Can you tell me about Sayulita. I was going to go there but did not take the chance to go and learn to surf. I shake my head in disbelief too often. If you have any pictures you could share, it would make me even more envious. Cheers!

Re:PV trip. to much fun..
Is it a good beach to learn to surf? Do you know what the cost is for renting surfboards and lessons?
