How was the food at the Sierra Nuevo Vallarta?

Thanks Grama bronco. We are considering the Sierra for Christmas with our family. We stayed there last March for a week and absolutely loved the hotel - the beach was great, it was very clean, good activities, etc. We were just a bit disappointed with the food. In fact, people at that time were requesting passes to eat in the restaurants each night because the buffet was very poor. The nights it was set up outside was okay, it was the other nights that were bad. But we really liked the location and the size of the place. Would you return there? Thanks so much for your help.
