Day 3 Canto Del Sol
Today we had decided to listen to a timeshare presentation with the hotel. We have done these before so we really just wanted to get the free tickets to the canopy tour. So we met with Maribel our sales person @ 9 am. They said it would be 90 minutes, well 2 hours later she wasn’t even near the end of her presentation, I stopped her and said we were not interested and we had no intention of buying anything. Her boss came over to try and change our minds, my husband was getting very disturbed and I thought they were going to go at each other. But we just kept saying NO NO NO and that worked. Went to get our free tickets and our free bottle of tequila. The lady gave us a voucher for 5 people for the next morning. OK so enough timeshare junk. Went to the pool. Went to the beach today, kids got tattoos, it was fun bartering with them. They were very nice people if you talk to them. The hotel had free non motorized sports so we took the catamaran for a ride. Manny was in charge of the catamaran. He was really funny and we ended up going like 3 or 4 times in all. It was really pretty to see the hotels and the city from the water. OK so tonight we planned to go to Pipi’s for dinner. Get ready (All 11 of us). Meet in the lobby to go downtown. Decided to take the bus, which was packed today and we had to stand up. If anyone knows how they drive you can imagine it was an experience. I just held on for life!!! But anyway, got to Pipi’s early 4:30 so there wasn’t a line and we didn’t even have to wait. All I can say about this place is WONDERFUL! First of all the service was awesome, I think we had about 6 waiters. There was always someone at the table cleaning, refilling, more chips, whatever. We were very impressed. The guacamole was soooooooooooo yummy! My husband hates guacamole and he loved it. Margarita’s were huge! Anyway, Pipi’s is definitely a restaurant you must visit in PV. For the 11 of us our bill was $230 US. That is not bad at all. Watched the sunset tonight. Now I know why everyone says that PV has the most beautiful sunsets. Absolutely breath taking!
