Bad GCP review on TA

My wife asked the waiter if she could have a better bottle than the garbage they were serving and he said yes, but they would have to charge our room. Can you believe that?

Yeah, I can believe that. That is too funny! :lol: I say go ahead charge it to my room, and let me buy you a drink and put it on my bill. I bet he never ordered room service while there either thinking it would be charged to his room.

I know he wont see this post I am making but most bars/clubs/restaurants will use the \"cheap\" stuff unless you ask for the premium. You asked for something by type, then you get the cheaper stuff. Just ask for a drink by name and made with \"x\" brand, then most of the time if the place has it, you will get it.

Common sense wasnt given to everyone.

Bothers me that some people expect a certain treatment without letting the staff know what they expect. Too bad. They missed out.

I did get an e-mail from Porfirio the Food and Beverage Manager at the resort this morning. And his take on this report was very similiar to our own here on the BB from a lot of the repeaters to this wonderful resort. But he is going to take it seriously as well, and see if he can contact these people to get more information from them on their comments. so we will have to see what will come of this. The resort also thanks us all for our continued support of our friends and family at the resort, and our continued support for being part of the GCP repeaters...

Yeah, your constant quest for fun and enjoyment and constantly being nice and helpful is really starting to piss me off too!

Im not sure what these ppl were expecting expecially going to a all inclusive ADULT ONLY hotel. Everyone in bed by 9 I guess. Feel bad for you mr crown for asking a couple questions and being treated that way.

sorry me again thought of another thing :) . Being in the food and service buisness pretty much my whole life did this person stop to notice once at these restraunts and bars how busy they were, how many servers were working,how many cooks were in the kitchen on line, how many bartenders were working to try and make drinks for how ever many ppl were ordering. So many ppl think the restraunt and bar business is so easy how hard could it be waitressing or bartending or cooking for 100s and 100s of ppl a day. Until they have done it they dont have a clue. All they care about is what is taking so gosh darn long. Not the fact that mabey a burner went out on the stove or hey mabey the grill has cooled because of the 25 steaks that were put on.Mabey someone cut themselves burned themselves mabey just mabey things happen that arent predicted.Anyways I would post this there but Im only into this board and have no desire to post anywhere else thanks for letting rant again. Its a rant kinda week :D

I find this site.. PV.net has all the information one needs for information about PV and although trolls pass by time to time they are handled by Mogens and the mods in a very good way.
I also like the respect most members give each other on this board and that there is not a gang up on a poster ( that may differ in opinion )like we see on so many other boards where a poster is put in a postition of feeling that they have to defend themselves and threads are allowed to get way out of hand. I feel good here knowing that someone will tell me kindly when I am off base about something.

Thumbs up to Mogens and the mods :) for keeping this board a place where one feels they want to visit to learn about PV and Mexico and have a bit of fun..

thank you pvfunlover, i thought i was out of my mind there for a little while... and then to be attacked the way i was ... almost drove me to drink that much more... :roll: :wink: :lol:

but GCP will be special to many of us, and no matter what happens, we will keep coming back, bringing new friends and family to our second home....... :wink: :lol: 8)
