Candice T, if you could e-mail me, i have a power point presentation for the Crown Paradise Club Resort (the sister resort to the GCP). I have sent this to Amy and Desi before they left for their vacations with their families and they found it to be quite helpful as well...

let me know if i can be of any more assistance....

Tom aka Mr Crown...
Hi!

You will love this resort!

There is a business center in the hotel with \"high speed\" internet. I think it is about $10/hour. There is an internet cafe just outside the gate of the resort (walk out of the lobby and turn left in parking lot, go out the gate adn it is down the sidewalk to the left) that is $1 / hour. It is not air conditioned. They also have long distance was 10 cents/minute. We took out laptop, but only used it to download our camera every night.

Walmart and Sams are within walking distance (less than 1/2 mile). THey are different than in US. We really enjoyed going to Sams and Walmart to see the people. One thing that was surprising to me is that anything that is \"american\" was very expensive...example ..a apir of flip flops I bought at a Texas Walmart for $3.97 were $14 in PV. Anther things that are expensive in PV are sunscreen and sunglasses. T-shirts and hats are cheap. Bring sunscreen and flips and sunglasses from home.

Near the internet cafe are some really great shops. Anything they have in the resort gift shop can be found there for at least half off. Also out there is a booth were you can book excursions. There is a market with all the \"market type\" stuff as well as some nicer shops with jewelry and gifts.

There is a spa type place out there too with very good and inexpensive massages, facials, etc.....

I hope you have a great time...we loved the Japanese restaurant and the French has a good steak.

We have only been to PV this one time, but will return in May!! We love it!!

Amy
