Getting Ripped Off in Bars/Clubs

Started March 31, 2006 · 24,839 views · 10 posts
The denomination I´m talking about are in pesos.

I gave the waiter a $200 PESOS bill and he said I only gave him a $20. (AGAIN, talking about pesos here)

And this was early in the night when it wasn´t too crowded and I was completely sober.

What really bothered me is that he said he could check the register at the end of the day but he wasn´t going to because he knew he was giving me correct change.

He´s either outright incompetent or he´s ripping you off.

I didn´t make a big deal about it then, I just bought the most expensive beer in Mexico--$200 pesos, close to $20 USD. But when something similar happened to me in Carlos O´bryan I realized the waiter in Andale´s ripped me off.

I think im going to have to come back to Andale´s and have a talk with someone. Or what do you believe is the best course of action?

Watch out for the shot girls at 69club...they want $180 for three shots that they pour down into your mouth, one after another. You almost have to get up and run away from them, so they stop pouring the shots. $60 for a very watered down shot of who knows what....it was still a blast!
me and tyler were at this club as well and saw ppl do the shots. But we also saw two different tables disputing with the waiter over there bills. Which we both thought kinda wrong if you drank the drinks pay the bill jmo.

My question is when you go to the clubs is it better to pay as go or run the tab.
You have to pay the shot girls when you do the shots, but I have always ran a tab at the clubs/bars and have never had a problem.
Me and the old guy never had any trouble with our tabs we just saw other ppl at other tables giving the waiter a hard time. The old guy kinda likes to pay as he goes so its not so much of a shock when he gets the bill cause giggles is a booze hound.
If your thinking what Im thinking then were thinking the same thing.

Well to try and get this topic back on track after I wrecked it the advice would be to anyone out there if you have a problem with your bill or change deal with it right then and there even if you have to get the manager or supervisor involved. We never ever had a problem with our bills nor our change.
