rest assured that many clubs have taxis outside along with on nearly ever corner. in addition they drive by about every 10 seconds looking to give rides. i think you should also know that if you are at like one of the main bars along the malecon(zoo, carlos obriens, etc.) and you stay at rosita, then you are very close to home. enjoy :D

Hey Cabbie, Rosita Please
Take a cab - it will be about 40 pesos or $ 4 US . Money well spent. :)
Sort of going along with Jennybean, only a little more blunt, maybe you should not drink so much in order to be more aware of whazz up. PV, like anyplace else, can be dangerous for people, especially single women, who are not aware. Please be safe. Chuck... 8)

And it will be very easy for you to find people to go out with. Me and my 2 buds ended up meeting alot of people and going partying with them. What would happen alot of the time is after the lobby bar closed at our resort a group of about 7,8,9,10 people from the bar would all share cabs, go to the same club, and party together. Just be safe.
Agree with cdndude..You cannot help but find all sorts of new friends to go out with in PV. You will find this is probably the easiest place to meet new buddies. Never had any problem finding someone to \"go along\" to anything in Vallarta

We left my camera in the taxi when we went to Cafe des Artistes. About 10 minutes later, the hostess came to our table and asked if I could go out to the lobby to met someone. There was the driver with my camera. Naturally I gave him a big tip, thanks and a hearty handshake!
I have retold this story and found that it is not exceptional at all. Peoplle have had purses returned to their hotels intact. I think PV is exceptional when compared to many Caribbean Islands.
