Started October 15, 2001 · 4,496 views · 6 posts
My wife and I are looking to visit Puerto Vallarta at the end of Dec. This is what I am looking to find out;

1. What location in Puerto Vallarta is the best to visit, based on beach and hotel (all inclusive deal).

Thanks

Re:Where to Stay?
are you plain stupid ???ask your travel agentLOL. check the travel magazin !!!!!!!many nice hotels in P. VALLARTA!!!how much you like to spend ??????per nigth 25 $$$ or a little more for the room LOL
Re:Where to Stay?
Hi and please ignore \"fred\" - he is not a normal poster on this board and certainly does not represent the others! Anyway! Many good areas in PV...the southside (Old Town) is very popular - more your \"typical\" Mexico and a bit less touristy with many sidewalk cafes and unique shops and restaurants. Good beach too. If you want the best beaches, then check out Nuevo Vallarta or a bit further north - the further north you go, the nicer the beaches are. To the south, the Conchas Chinas area things are a bit more lush and \"jungley\". The hotel zone is just that - a strip of large resorts, good beaches. Such a wide variety to choose from...sort of depends on what you are looking for!
Re:Where to Stay?
\"fred\" - please be aware of a security issue! Some fool is writing this Board, spewing drivel and using your name! Thought you should be aware - probably someone youthful, as the language & grammar appeared to be from a 4 year old.
Re:Where to Stay?
Hey pt...thanks for the info. I am def. looking for the best beaches, so it looks as if I need to go North.
My wife and I would just love to be able to relax, swim, drink and eat. We had plans for Europe but inlight of what happened last month we had to cancel our plans and are now looking for a nice all inclusive hotel/resort. Thanks again.
Re:Where to Stay?
I will probably get slammed for saying this but whatever...I LOVE to hear that people are cancelling their trips to Europe to come to PV!!! This is exactly what we need to hear right now! Things are picking up each day - plus it is closer to \"home\" than Europe! Yes, if you are a beach-person, head north. Any of the resorts in Nuevo Vallarta have great beaches and even further north if you want. Have Fun!!!!
