no nothing about your hotel.take the bus downtown.get off walk straight,passed the fresh fish stands.when it looks like a deadend/alley,take it. there are two rope swinging bridges to go across.then turn right at the ocean and you will see the malacon(concrete boardwalk)there should be a mexican\"hippie\"with spraypaint.and the pictures he paints are-awhsome-
continue dowm malacon,little boys made a 6ft sand impression of jesus on the cross.WOW-something else!!if you tip them,they dont want to split the tip.cost me 10 usd!!!live&learn eh?! lots of small restraunts/bars/shops to leark around.we went to one on second floor,munched and beers,and people watched for hours.
ask about mis maloya(sp) on our last day we were told of the bus that would take you to the most wonderful beach,mismaloya.we didnt have time.you and your son deserve this trip-oh yea-wear good comfortable sneakers/shoes.its all cobblestone,steps of ALL different shapes and sizes.by all means,use the bus system,cheap,and you cant get lost.
