Has anybody been to Puerto Vallarta in early Sept? Was the weather rainy or was there still a good deal of sun?

September is the rainest month in PV. How much rain will depend on any tropical disturbances/storms that form in the Pacific. Typically it rains in the afternoon and during the night and stops in the morning. This year has been a little different with several days of rain during the day.
I go anytime of the year that I can get down, so just go and be prepared to have some warm tropical rain fall on you. They have some awsome lightening storms sometimes but other than that it never keeps me from doing what I want to do, with the exception of an outright tropical storm.
