This afternoon I heard that now the only liquid allowed on board will be breast milk and baby formula. Please do not tell me that you can make an explosive devise with breast milk or formula.

Begs the question. Can the breast milk be in a bottle, or does it have to be au naturel? What about formula....does it have to be in those sealed containers. If in a bottle, do they plan on testing the stuff to ensure that it is indeed what the young bearded middle eastern father purports it to be?
Planes are well stocked with booze ...
Could they not have a supply of baby formula
stocked as well .
We used powdered formula all they need is to add water and shake. We used the bottle that had bags in them you could take a dozen of them with the powder in them in very little space.

Canadians traveling to and from the United Kingdom and the United States will face even tighter security regulations.
In the U.K., no baggage is allowed to be taken into the passenger cabin of aircraft. Bags which would normally be carried on board must now be checked and placed in the cargo hold.

Pocket-size wallets and pocket-size purses plus contents, such as money, credit cards and identity cards;
............
If this happens that women will be allowed to take only a small wallet on board and NOT their purses where will we put our important stuff.
I just can not imagine this happening. :x
..............
My humble is that we should not mind being inconvienced..I hope all precautions will be taken to keep air travel safe.
I would fly to Mexico in a flash but..
In a week or 2 as soon as high Season ends and prices drop we were to book our first trip (for Sept) to Britain to visit my bro and his family who live in Bristol. If we do not go I feel we have given in to terrorist threats but to be honest when I watch the news and I see the chaos at Heathrow Airport I wonder if I want to be there in the middle of it. We are searching alternative routes.
