We tip the maids anywhere from $20 to $30 pesos per day. Sometimes maybe more depending on service. If you want to give gifts, do it in addition to a tip. Also, some tour groups include maid tips in the price, but I think the amount is very small. If in doubt, you could ask at the front desk what tips are appropriate for maids at your hotel.
