Things to do around Lindo Mar

My fiance and I are planning on spending out honeymoon at Lindo Mar in the Conchas Chinas area of PV.

I have not been to PV in about 15 years so I am curious what is around Lindo Mar. I like to just lounge but he gets a little stir crazy and likes to get out. Are there any shops or restaurants in that area or do you have to go into town?

Are there street vendors anywhere out there?
