Re:The Westin in September
September is traditionally the month with the most rain in PV. Unless there is a tropical storm in the area, it will not be raining all the time. The rainy time is usually late afternon, or evening and then it ususally stops in the morning. It is very hot and humid at that time of year. As far as the cruises, they will stop all boats from leaving the marina if the water is too rough, otherwise as long as the conditions permit the cruises will still be operating.

Have fun, enjoy!!!!!!

Re:The Westin in September
i was there last sept...it really didnt rain too much. the westin was rebuilding their beach, but they have 4 pools...2 with swim up bars. beautiful hotel, great staff...avoid the club regina desk. nice people, but timeshare sharks in disguise. if you really want info ask the bellmen.

marina area is a few blocks away-very nice. try mr cream for a cheap breakfast, suziie wongs for chinese (REALLY!!) and portobello and geez, i forgot the name again of the other italian place. i think it is close to the lighthouse there. and la paloma, (or las palapas, i forget that too...sorry) is great. that place is 1 or 2 down from suzzie wongs

there are time share sharks ther too, just say no gracias and keep walking.

i loved the westin and would go back if i return to pv. you can take the bus (cheap) or cabs (not too bad either) to town or gigante. that is like mexican wal mart and they have everything.....groceries, film, souveniers, liquor, pastries (yum...cheap breakfast..they have a coffee stand in the lobby at the hotel)

the westins food was good, but could have been better. drinks are yummy and ther is 2 for 1 happy hour from 6-7 i think. also, they have an internet place, but you can get cheaper access at a coffee shop in the marina. (it has the same name as the coffee kiosk in the westin, but again, amnesia sets in..!

email me if yo want any more info
