Taxi rates: per person or per car?

Sorry if this is redundant, I see a lot of Taxi questions. But most people mention a price, and do not say if that is per person, or per group.
I am taking a taxi from the PV airport to the RIU Jalisco with 2 adults and 2 children, and a bunch of luggage. I was going to use the airport taxi where you buy the tickets at the booth. How much should that be for all 4 of us for a taxi that would fit a decent amount of luggage?

The rates are per taxi, not per person. Remember to settle on the fare with the taxi driver BEFORE you get into the taxi. Maybe someone here can give you exact pricing on the taxi.
Most of the taxis are small Nissons (centras?)
that may fit 2 adults & 2 small kids. We barely got 2 adults, 2 carryons(duffles) & 3 checked bags(2 suitcases and a large duffle) in one. Like was stated above you may have to get a van. I have been asked for more fare if more than two adults with lots of baggage, if not give the driver a good tip.
