Spring Break

We are coming down to PV during Spring Break and were wondering if PV is really crowded at this time of year with College and University Students. We know that this will undoubtably be a busy time of year with people taking holidays but was just wondering how crowded PV get during this time period. This is our 2nd time down and we are really looking forward to coming back. We are actually staying in Nuevo but naturally will be coming into PV to enjoy all the sites.

Vallarta is not a major \"spring break\" destination for the college crowd like Cabo or Cancun. But, the week before and after Easter is VERY crowded with nationals from Mexico City and Guadalajara, this is when they vacation at the beach.

Does anyone happen to know what week falls right before Easter this year? Do they celebrate the same date as in the U.S.?

 Good Friday is Friday, April 9th, or the beginning of Easter weekend. I believe this date is held all over the world.
