Spring break is during different weeks for different schools. One week, there may be a lot of of U.S. high school kids here and another week may have more college kids. Another week it may be mixed. The Hooters restaurant, at the end of the Malecon, already has their welcome banners up for the spring breakers - a little premature, but why not be prepared?
The week before Easter is called \"Semana Santa\" and that is when things more get crowded because some of the Mexican national crowd also head here for vacation. A lot of people will arrive from cities like Guadalajara, which is a only few hours drive away.
