radio
the only thing I have read on here about radios is the two way radios so Im not sure but someone here will know and be able to help you out.
You will have no problem taking a radio with you. I take a CD player almost every trip and I have never had a problem. I carry it in my hand as I walk through customs and they do not look at it twice. Just remember Mexico is not Cuba, Cuba is a communist country and there are many things they do not allow to be brought into their country.

thanx everyone. i just really wanna bring one coz we have no tv to listen to music on in our rooms and i love having music on as we get ready to go out and such :) There are some good \"local\" FM stations that play local Mexican/Spanish tunes as well as some things you might beable to understand... we find that our maid sets the radio to something she enjoys when she is cleaning the room, and so we listen to her station during our stay... very relaxing....
