Questions about time difference

I wonder if someone could end my confusion about time zones. We are staying at the Riu Jalisco in Nayarit. Is Puerto Vallarta on the same time, an hour earlier, or an hour later? :?:

Also, can anyone tell me what the weather forcast is for next week?

Yes officially there is an hour difference between Puerto and Nuevo Vallarta, however most of the hotels stay on Puerto Vallarta time to make it easier for the guests.
