We stopped in Cabo during a cruise in November. I found the downtown rather unappealing in general. There were a few decent looking bars but nothing like the south side of PV!

Have never been to Cabo to see some of this first hand, but that is what we have heard before. but there are those folkes that love the area for deep sea fishing and golf. but again, that is for certain people. we love Vallarta for what she is, a beautiful city, with thousands of friendly people with a smile on just about every corner or store or resturant you wander into ....
