Puerto Vallarta

Hi,
I am going to Puerto Vallarta on June 6th through June 15th, and was wondering what to expect the weather to be like then. I have read that June can be rainy. Has anyone went before this part of June? How bad is the rain there? Also, can anyone recommend any fun things to do while we are there? Any good restaurants to eat at while we are there. Any feedback that anyone can give I would totally appreciate it. We will be staying at the Samba Vallarta by Pueblo Bonito, if anyone has stayed there, were there lots of things to do there for children, adults, etc. Thanks for your feedback.

Thanks babysteps for your feedback, we were all curious what the weather was going to be like, it helps with packing.
we went about 4 years ago during this time frame and found that we got afternoon thunderclouds nearly everyday with rain probably every other day. one of the days was a pretty severe thunderstorm but still only lasted about 1 hour and it felt great...cooled down the air. consequently that also added to the humidity the following day which tends to be higher this time of year. i would say....this time of year take no jackets, sweatshirts, long sleeved shirts, or long pants.
I like PV in June and heve been there the last 6 years. We have never been rained out, but of course that could happen. It is very hot and just about as humid as it can get without raining. One thing to watch out for is your camera lens. You need to let the camera aclimate for about 10 min after leaving your room. The humidity will fog you lens for at least that amount of time. We noticed most of our shots from the first visit were very hazy.
