Have not used the site, but looks like a bad deal to me. The site offered to sell me $9,800 pesos for my $1,000 USD, and exchanging in Vallarta I would get around $11,000 pesos. $120 USD difference to use their service, NOT!!!
You can get a great exchange rate at the airport in PV, then use ATMs when you need more.
Thanks for the info. I think I will buy them at the airport.

Re:Ordering pesos online?
The actual bank at the airport (open during normal banking hours) has the best rates of any bank in Vallarta. I go there often to exchange dollars, as does most locals. The reason they have better rates on exchanging dollars for pesos is because they buy back your pesos for a lesser exchange when you leave. So, keep your pesos for your next trip to Vallarta!

Re:Ordering pesos online?
CITI Bank customers can use any BANAMEX ATM and there is NO fee charged on either end, since CITICorp has interest in Banco Nacional de México, same as using a CITI ATM at home. Nice.

Re:Ordering pesos online?
Do not order on-line. The outlet at the airport I found to be very comparable to all the other exchanges except for the banks. Stop there and get enough Pesos to get you started, then go to the bank for the best rates.

Polite or impolite, I know tips in usd are not turned down. If I am lucky to get some small denom pesos I use them and I always make purchases with pesos. If I ask nicely at a casa de cambio they will usually break some of the large bills down into 20s and 50s. perfect for tipping.
