PV has one of, if not the best water filtration system in Mexico. A lot of hotels are filtered as well. We stayed at the Mayan. Even though the water was filtered, I thought that it tasted funny. So we bought water. Our room even had 1.5 liters of bottled water that we could buy. It is cheap enough and 1 less thing to worry about.
