new years eve in pv

Going first time to pv dec thru jan 4...what the most fun place to be for new years eve.

After midnight, the Olas Altas Street Party, without a doubt.

We are staying at the Camino Real, how far is that from the street party. Are there other options for transportation???? What about safety concerns at that time of night. ?????

Thanks for the information about safety. I am just concerened about celebrating too far away from the hotel if there is no way back.
