As has been stated before on the BB, about the best rate is at the Airport. I found this to be true when we came to PV January 18. There are several places after you come out of immigration. Just look around for the one with the best rate.

When we were in PV in January, the exchange rate was better at banks than at the airport. To cash travellers checks, 10.37 at the airport and 10.58 at the bank (both transactions were done on the same day). The airport rate is better than the cambios, as far as I can tell.
