Mobile phones

Hiya,

During my two weeks in PV and travelling around Mexico I might spend time away from my partner.

Can I buy a local (Mexican sim card) for our phones for us to keep in touch.
If so, how much do they cost?

No one ever responded to this message. Will our cel phones work in PV?

Bob, we used Verizon, but was roaming and came out to about 60 cents a min (USD), and had to inform Verizon that we would be using in MX. Also others have said ATT and Cingular worked fine. There is an earlier string that has more info.
