Greetings Hollywood Guy , you will have no problem getting your fish taco fix while in PV . There are plenty of street vendors with very tasty/fresh offerings . Renting a jet ski is no problem either - all along the beaches there are numerous rentals to choose from . Like Ronald has already stated if we knew your hotel we could be more specific with details . Rest assured that you and your family will have a great vacation - PV is very child (and adult) friendly. :)

During your stay in Puerto Vallarta you will be approached by several of the hundreds of timeshare promoters. Most likely, your resort is also in the business of selling timeshares. If you attend one of these presentations, you will receive 15% to 30% off on various activities, including watersports. I recommend that you attend the presentation where you are staying, as the discount also applies to food and beverage purchases.

As PEMCO stated, if you attend a time-share presentation you not only will receive discounts for activities but you can haggle before you agree to a presentation and have them give you a half hour or hour of jetski usage free. The jetski guys are set up on the beaches all over - no websites - just walk up and ask.

The time value of your vacation, and the cost of some tour versus sitting thru a time share presentation. This is completely up to you that is for sure. But i guess my time on my vacation is worth something to give up 2 hrs minimum to 4 hrs for discounts on tours, or a bottle of tequila, or even $200 bucks. But that is just me. We have been to some of these time share presentations, even if you keep saying no, is it worth sitting there for the so called \"freebies\"... Good luck with your decision... and yes there are lots of wave runners up and down the beaches... just go up and negotiate the price and time limits... and off you go... The Santana boys by the GCP usually run for like $30-40 USD for 30 minutes unless there is a line... Just like the para-sailers... shorter the lines, the longer the hang time, the longer the lines, the shorter the hang time...
