Where are you flying from? I was just down in PV 4 weeks ago and got a great fare through Alaska from LAX, found it on their e-deals which are posted every Tues. at 5:00 pm PST. You have to check them right at 5:00 every week as the departure and destinations change weekly. I paid less than I did last July and last Nov.
If you are planning on going in May you might not have enough time to wait for the right departure and destination cities to appear.
