I am going to stay at a hotel in the marina in mid June. My travel agent is telling me that the beach and the water are very smelly and horrible at the Marina during that time. Is this true or is it just an occasional problem? I stayed in Nuevo Vallarta in 2 years ago and the water had a very sour smell. I was told that it was red tide. I sure would appreciate an answer.
