Last Minute Deals

In light of my PV addiction, I would like to go far more often than the once per year we have budgetted for ....lol....can anyone recommend any GOOD last minute sites or ideas for, well...last minute deals? I always seem to meet the people that paid half what I paid a week before, but where do they find the deals??? :lol:

I always check the sales prices and last minute deals at this site. Never bought there, as our travel agent will sell you the same thing, but at least you know the prices, dates, etc. http://www.jubileetravel.com/

not sure where you live, but if on the u.s. west coast you may look at suntrips.com. they usually have last minute deals that can be pretty good but they only fly out of portland,seattle,denver, and oakland.

:lol: Your Canadian amigos will be able to help you more on this than i can... Most of the \"hot deals\" down here in the Midwest are run thru Apple Vacations, MLT Vacations, and FunJet Vacations... most of these run out of Minneapolis, Chicago, St. Louis, KC, and Milwauke.... for some of the local airports around us... but you never know if you can catch a cheap flight out of Edmonton to Mpls or ORD you might beable to get a hot place to stay at... but it is hard to say....

I still think passports are the best way to travel. It is going to be nice once everybody is required to have one for international travel especially. then the clearing of customs, immigrations, etc... will go so much better coming and going and returning.

I live in Hinton, fly out of Edmonton every year to P.V. for the last 19 years. Fly air only with America west or Alaska, after the new year West jet will post their flights for Jan, Feb, and Mar. So keep an eye on all their web sites. You can book on line.There is lots of places to stay.This site has reservations on line. Check out mexdev.com, they are a canadian bunch from Victoria. 5 minute walk to the beach and less to walk to Centro. There is a lot of different types of accomodations available in the Centro or Romantica zone.

I just booked a trip to PV, and I am staying at the Samba Vallarta by Pueblo Bonito, May and June are cheaper times to go. It is 2400.00 for 3 of us to stay for 9 days all inclusive, and that is also including the flight. go to www.pueblobonito.com and then click on our hotels, and then to to the bottom and click on Samba Vallarta.
