I am coming to PV the first part of May and wondered if anyone could tell me about the possibility of running into Jellyfish while snorkeling/diving. Are there certain times of year when jellyfish are abundant? Thanks!

It has more to do with tides & storms then time of year. I have seen beach areas thick with jellyfish due to currents at different times of the year. I have also had the most incredible experience diving were we had to swim through at least 30 feet of gorgeous jellyfish of the non stinging variety,. They actuly disolved in our hands as we dove through them.There was hundreds of thousands of them.
